I have a 49 Chevy truck. I was disconnecting the lines going into the master cylinder using the proper line wrenches. One line was easy but the second one was mostly rounded, I tried to get the line off and I completely rounded the fitting. Should I cut the line at the fitting to get the master cylinder out, ,and more important where do I get one steel brake line made? Is there a company that does this. I really don’t want to buy all new brake lines these are fairly new, just the one. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Cutting the line should be fine as long as you can get the other end disconnected. You can buy pre-flared lengths of brake line at your local parts store and bend it to fit. You will need to know the diameter of the line and the length, if you have to you can buy a coupler to join two or more lines to make the length you need.

Yes, any of the chain stores or if your lucky to have an independent owned store, they all have brake line in stock.
