I thought about the same thing for my truck, I figured I could get two new arms and lengthen them. I ended up with west coast mirrors from Craigslist for $20 and the truck had already been modified with west coast mirrors, I didn't have to drill any new holes, for now I'm happy with it.

If I could find at least driver's side three hole folding arm bracket I coul buy an adjustable spot mirror arm and put on stock rectangle mirror. The right side door three holes where never drilled, but rest of door looked like it was hit with shotgun. Yesterday evening I found what I believe are folding mirror brackets with driver's door parts,painted body color, right door has reinforced area but no captured nuts,so am I right in thinking that this truck came original with one mirror only? Previous owner installed west coast style mirror's after purchase?
