If you saw my welcome post I explained what I had but long story short, I bought a basket case, 82 c10 frame and drivetrain/running gear and a 1951- 5 window body.
I got everything running and drove it last week for the first time around the cul-de-sac. Issue now is due to the wider frame and the large front tires it has on it, the fender is right on the tire almost. It clears but barely.
It has 225/75/15 tires on it now so I was thinking of downsizing to a 205/70/15, do y'all think this will do the trick or should I take a more drastic approach like narrowing the front end. Also things I need to do is adjust the doors and the hood as well to make it latch better. See the picture and let me know what you think.

You need to do something for sure. If you take a harsh sharp turn, body roll will likely result in taking out your fender. A buddy of mine just got done with that kind of damage on his panel truck with a Camero front end. His biggest issue was with lowering job and too wide tires. He ended up cutting off the inner roll of sheet metal at the wheel opening of the fender.

My first Camaro front end, I had really narrow tires and rims with as much offset as I could get. My second Camaro, I planned it for the Fatman Fabrications narrowed a-arms. Much better the second time around.

MNSmith do you remember what size tire and the offset was on the wheels you used?

One option would be to go to the front end sheet metal used on the 1 1/2 ton and bigger trucks. The fenders are wider, and you wouldn't have to butcher up a steering and suspension system that works. You might have to do something about the bigger wheel opening that the big truck fender has, but cobbling on sheet metal is a lot easier than whittling on a frame.

Thank you Hotrod Lincoln, I hadn't thought of that. I also thought of maybe finding some different coil springs for a c20 or somthing that might lift the truck in the front some since I am on a '82 C10 frame.
I will scour the web for those fenders to see what I can find.

Sorry, I don't remember. Last time I saw that truck was 1999, 2000.

I believe you might be able to find some Wilwood products that will bring in the wheel by 3/4" -1" by changing to one of their rotors an caliper systems.

I once declined a great deal on an AD with 2nd gen Camaro clip because of the same tire-to-fender clearance issue. I later saw the truck and the new owner had simply changed the wheels to a more positive offset and smaller front tires and it looked and worked great. That simple solution made me wish I hadn't passed on the truck.

That's music to my ears miraclepieco! Now time do do some google research on the Wilwood products systems and to try and find some decent 15s with positive offset.

I found some type Smoothie wheels that are 15x5 w/ +6mm offset might try those.

You will need a lot more than just the 2 ton fenders. They are longer, thus requiring a 2 ton hood, 2 ton inner fenders, 2 ton grill, 2 ton upper and lower radiator baffles, and 2 ton radiator support. These 2 ton parts are all different than the 1/2 through 1 1/2 ton trucks.
