If a Stovebolt forum member asks a question on a subject I’m interested in too I read the answer and often do a little of my own independent research on the subject in the hope of applying the information to my own projects. Sometimes it turns out to be a simple matter on which all experts agree. In other cases the information and expert opinions are contradictory. In that case I look at the data behind the expert opinions to decide which opinion is supported by the most data and is most credible.
That brings me to my question. Where there is disagreement among experts, would forum members want to know that or not?
If "Yes" I would feel free to share what I've discovered. If "No" I'll know to keep silent.

Some disagreements fall quickly down that rabbit hole. That is where the Moderator must step in and shut it down. I am familiar with the reasons yar wishes to explore this subject. I believe we should let the members choose which advice to take. One person researching another’s posts and then posting an opinion can only lead to more conflict. This site could quickly turn into another HAMB where insults are the norm. A resounding no is my answer.
I have sent this thread and it’s associated posts to John for his review. At this point I’m going to lock it down. John can unlock it if he wishes or if his answer to me is to open it up I will unlock it myself.
