Hello Bolters-

I'm rebuilding a 56 Chevy pickup with the standard 3 speed synchromesh transmission (3 on the tree). Found a busted gear and am hoping someone can help me find a servicable one.

What I need:
a Countergear (tooth count: 27-14-22)

What I'd like to have if I can find:
Rebuild kit
Input shaft
Reverse Idler Gear bushings and shaft

I've called everyone the local experts recommended, but no luck. These things are getting hard to find. If anyone can help or point me to someone I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

you may find these parts by typing into the search box on Ebay or a replacement three speed for parts or a swap too.

Joe,
Contact Dave or Jim at: Waugh Transmissions, 11965 Rivera Rd. Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670
562-693-0855

The counter gear is now being reproduced and is available. The other components are also available from them.

Thanks Fred-

Just talked to Dave. Turns out I have a Muncie 318. Looks like he's got the parts to get me back on the road. Awesome!
