I'm in Alaska and my trucks in Ohio. My question is this: What make carb would be on my engine? I'm under the impression there were a variety of carbs used back in 1953. I'm looking to buy a rebuild kit for it now so I can get going on the revival her. Thanks in advance for all help given.
Have any pictures? I'm assuming the 216 got the Rochester B as well. There are a few variations, so if you're lucky enough to still have a data plate that could help.
Without photos and/or the carburetor tag number there is no way we can help.

For now this is the best picture I have. If nothing can be gained from the picture, can either of you tell me what carbs were used in ‘53 so I can study up on them?
