welcome to the club. Way out here in Manitoba, us Maple leafers need to stick together. I might know where there is a '40 hiding in the trees.

hello bob. brandon is my home town before i gave up on living in the south. i spent my wasted youth with my 1937 dodge hot rod truck seeing how fast it would go. now i enjoy life in the slow lane with old truck, rough roads and 2mph on the cat trains.

nice maple leaf you have there.

this 1938 maple leaf came from reston manitoba where it spent most of it's life. the last 20 years was parked in a shed before coming to the Kingdom in august.

it has been -40c at night with a day time high of -30c for the last week but today it warmed up. i was able to take my loader out of it's heated shed and dragged the 38 maple leaf in to my little shop. it was a tight fit because of the grain box on the truck but it does fit.

more to come as i get in to this project.

great to see the progress. Too bad you don't come down this way. There's a guy in Neepawa with 3 cabs in very nice shape, one of which I'm going to buy for my truck since the cabs are the same.

i have been lucky and getting my buddy vince to haul my collectables with his semi. i have 3 more cabs behind the house and i decided it would be faster to weld this cab up. plus it keeps the character of the truck.

might need some other pieces from the guy in neepawa because i bought 2 more trucks in saskatchewan.

warmed up to -22c this morning so i'll be outside this afternoon working on my collectables.

There was a number stamped on the seals when new, otherwise search by dimension.

ED
