I took my gauges apart, and there was what USED to be a gasket on BOTH sides of the glass. Is this correct? Thanks! i think my trucks had a thick 3/16 to 1/4 black foam gasket only in front the glass, and this gasket is to keep dust out and it must compress completely until the glass is tight to the outside chrome ring
i didn't find any remnants of an inside gasket, but maybe it was just long gone.
i'll see if i happen to have photos
