Got it all cleared through the DMV, had the pink slip in hand. Bought $4,000.00 in after market parts, was doing some body work on it, everything was going good. Then one day the CHP showed up at my house, he said there is a fella down the street with a trailer who claims your 1950 Chevy truck is his. The person who sold me the truck got it in a divorce settlement. No title. He had the original title which was not signed off. So, bye bye truck. I did get my money back, but a very hard lesson learned.
But I couldn't shake the old truck bug, so 9 yrs later here I am, and just bought a stock unmolested 58 Apache step side short bed.
It sure was nice to get back on this site and see what all you awesome people are up to!
Will post some pics, but right now we're under 2' of snow.
