There are some shots of the Passenger side. This thing is a pain. How do I level it? Should I compress as far as I can and let the Shock try to hold it there? WHat is wrong here? I want all the input I can get good bad or indifferent. And no I dont know what I am doing. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 | The only thing I see wrong is the T-bolts holding the upper A-arm to the top hat are backwards. The Tee side goes on the bottom and the nut goes on top.
Everything else looks fine to me...just install the shock for now. You just need weight on the front suspension and little by little the lower A-arm will move toward being parallel with the ground. I hope your running V-6 springs with air and not the v-8 springs.

They need to be broken in. If you look a little farther back in this same forumn - then you can find some suggestions on how to compress springs. They are good ideas.
You can also look at my web page that's in my sig. It shows a similar problem.

I didn't put my springs in till I was almost done with the truck. I measured and cut a piece of (I think 5")thick wall PVC pipe, and set in place of spring ,to set everything to proper ride height, then finished building truck. It seemed easier setting up drive line when everything is at proper level? I had same problem, Good luck, looks like a nice job.

It has been six months with cab engine and chassis pretty well done and it has settled some, with everything on I'm hoping it'll be there. Seems the older I get the slower. Zeker
