| | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 182 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 182 | I've got a 327 sbc in my 52....I'm going to put a 'Pertronix Ignitor' electronic ignition kit (do away with the points!) in it along with a new coil. Right now it has stock points and a ballast resistor on the coil.(1"x4" white ceramic) Can I do away with this resistor? I guess I would have to bypass the resistor, but I don't know.
Electrics drive me crazy.
