I haven't been on here in quiet a while just bought a 1966 I think C60 with a 14 ft dump 327 5spd electric 2spd local truck was bought new at our local chevy dealer no rust southern truck my vin is HC6536A118805 if anyone can decode it Thanks in advance

Do you have a Shop Manual - ID information might be near the front of that manual.

Here's your serial number break down;

HC6536A118805

H = Heavy Duty
C = Conventional Cab with Gas Engine
65 = 2-ton with 175" wheel base
3 = Model 03 = Cab
6 = 1966
A = Atlanta Plant
118805 = Unit Number starting with 100001, 18,805th unit out of Atlanta.
