While searching for information about the UA-50 pump, I was directed to your website. I apologize that it is not attached to the front of a GM truck but a 1949 jeep. But I have already found several ideas on restoration that I want to try out (thank you).

Does anyone have access to or know where I can find literature on how the Barton American UA-50 Front Mount Pump is to be operated, fixed, cleaned, (you get the point). The saving grace on my project is that it has stayed in doors "ALL" it's life at the government factory, then in 1980 was sold and immediately placed in storage (with all it's toys intact). I am now changing all the fossilized grease, oil and such. Once it is operational I want to address the fire apparatus. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

I am also looking for information on a UA-50 pump. We have one attached to our 2100 gallon tanker. We need to open it up as it is only putting out about half of the 500 gpm.

Thanks
