My '51 3100 has one vent window door and one non-vent window door. I assume the door was replaced at one time with one that did not match the original. I am hoping to install a vent window in it rather than replace the whole door. I have heard of people eliminating the vent windows with solid glass on their restorations, but have not heard of going the other way. Any hints are appreciated.

I had a situation very similar to you and opted to sell the door which I didn't want and found the door I wanted. No work at all that way.

Thanks for your reply and advice. I was trying to avoid buying another door (vent-type) because of the cost and possible fitment issues. The door I have is in good condition and fits well, it just doesn't have a vent window.
