Taller than the triangle piece. I did that sort of thing on a DIY install. Don't use the little triangle. Take a close look at the CPP kit. Copy that somewhat. Switch the mind set, move to copy the CPP parts that make sense.

The measurement from CPP kit really puts the box in a much better location after just a quick mock up. I think I’ll weld a bracket on though rather than bolt but will see how it goes.
