| | | | Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 36 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 36 | I'm rebuilding my drive train from the water pump to the rear differential after spinning a bearing. The 260 is headed to Charlotte for some hot rodding, a 14 bolt rear end is in transit from Florida and will be getting a disc brake conversion. Not sure if I'll go with 70 C20 calipers or 77 Eldorado calipers as the later are scarce as hen's teeth.
Scored the missing component this weekend, a freshly rebuilt Saginaw 2 groove, 4 speed. Now with Patrick's gone, I need to figure out my shifter options. I'd like to go back with a floor shifter similar to stock.
Looks like tracking done someone with the mounting plate and shortened shift linkages is one option.
Any ideas?
