I have YOM truck plates on my ‘53 pickup and would like to put some of the narrow chrome frames around them. The frames in parts/discount stores all fit current size plates and are too large for the older plates. Has anyone seen a source for the smaller frames or have a suggestion for framing the LPs? Thanks for any help.

This stainless steel license plate frame is not cheap/inexpensive, but it is a "period correct" non-GM frame.

My rear license plate holder is fairly narrow on the sides. I passed on a holder that said "1948 Truck." I thought most folks could see it was a truck.

The "1948 Chevrolet" was better although my personal plate now says the same.

License Plate Holder.

My YOM would not fit a current holder.
