on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Anybody know about putting an AD body on a 4Runner frame?
TIA!

I Googled and didn't find anything. Thought I'd try here, yuh just never know...I'll post back when and if this starts to come together, it's still in the crap shoot stage.

Look through the AD truck files, and there should be diagrams outlining the dimensions of the various sized trucks, cabs, and chassis. Between that and taking measurements of the 4 Runner you've got, you should get a feel for how the project might go.

A google search shows a 4Runner having a 109 wheelbase. A 3100 truck is 116 and 3600 125.5. As far as width goes, I don’t know, The 4Runner being based on the Tacoma, it should be ok. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 177 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 177 | While I’m not opposed to a chassis swap, I believe the 4Runner is going to be a lot shorter than an AD truck. Yeah, I found out it would be waaay too much work. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
