#12922 03/21/2002 5:56 AM | Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 | On trucks (cars are the same, iirc) there is a clip welded on the carb linkage just above the pivot lever on the side of the block. The spring hooks in there, and goes straight down, hooking into a hole through the block in the oil pan flange mating surface.
