I just rebuilt my 235 in my 55 Chevy car and I forgot how the throttle return spring mounts. Can someone help me. Any pictures would be great too. Thanks.

On trucks (cars are the same, iirc) there is a clip welded on the carb linkage just above the pivot lever on the side of the block. The spring hooks in there, and goes straight down, hooking into a hole through the block in the oil pan flange mating surface.
