I'm thinking about installing one of those aftermarket powerbrake units on my 52. The one with dual chambers and power that is supposed to bolt onto the frame where the original master cylinder is and use your current brakes.
Has anyone got an opinion on these units?

I need to rebuild my brakes as well and looking for dual chambers--but questioning whether I need to get a power booster. Any thoughts on the necessity of the power booster? Also anybody used one of these units with remote fill capability. Any junk yard solutions? Thanks. smile

Buzzin' Half-If you check out many of the aftermarket "conversion" suppliers, you should find brackets available for swapping dual reservoir non-power master cylinders onto your rig. Try Classic Performance Products at:

www.classicperform.com

Also try our own sponsor (@ top of page) American Classic Truck Parts.

The non-power brackets are a wee bit cheaper than the power setups, I believe. Hope this helps.

Regards,
Wannabe smile
