How do I replace the light bulb in my radio? Do I have to remove the radio from the dash to replace? Help.

You definitely will have to remove the radio. My memory for the details have faded a bit but I think at least one of the AD radio models has a light on a bar that can be removed from the back.

hi Jhyp,
truckernix is correct, there is a tab to pull the light out with it's socket assembly.
see attached photo light_tab.jpg and light_tab_2.jpg
you pull straight back on the tab about 1/4 inch to unlock it, then it sorta twist and giggle and work it out of the unit, it will come with 1 wire, it grounds to the chassis.
i included views so you have an idea what it looks like in there

i have contemplated if it is possible to replace this bulb without removing the radio, it might be... in theory
see photo radio_bottom.jpg
if you can undo the two housing screws on the bottom, the whole back will slip off without removing the radio from the truck, this perhaps is possible to then change tubes and this bulb.
i haven't had to go back into my radio since installing it yet
let us know how it goes
thanks

Got the back off the radio (without removing the radio) but can't see the dial light. And no tab that I can see. Will continue to explore.

There are two models, the"slant cover" one and the straight back one. I think the one shown is the slant cover one.
