Has anyone had experience in modifying the drag link to keep it level with the pitman arm to avoid the dreaded bump steer. When building the old F*** roadsters they used to heat the steering arm and bend it lower. Can I cut the draglink and rotate the end with the steering arm balljoint to a downward position and then install it on the top of the arm instead of the bottom of the steering arm? I hate to cut the draklink but if I have it Mig welded and pinned inside of a sleeve I guess it should be ok. What do you guys have to say?

| | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 130 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 130 | hello 4d9r. i made an adjustable drag link by using two new tie rod ends i got at a parts store and threading a tube to accept the male theaded ends. i brought the old drag link to the store to match up the tapered part of the joints.
