I am trying to match the color of my Grandpa's P/U in the photo attached. I am pretty sure he would not have bought a custom color, but he might not have bought the truck new. It looks like a Blue(maybe Mariner Blue?). I was wondering if the original paint faded a lot over time as I have a hood that probably originally was green, but does not look similar to the new colors.
Jerry, that's a tough task from a photo. If the trucks driveable, run it by a auto paint store, the one the body shops use. They'll have a scan device the counter person can use to do a match to currently available colors. If you can't drive it, still go by and ask their advise.
