It looks like I need to rebuild/replace the master cylinder on my '51. I was planning on converting to a dual MC so I guess I will go ahead with it now. I have a couple of questions:

1. Several of the catalogs I have seen list kits with power MC for drum/drum and disc/drum. I would like to convert to front discs, but would like to not invest in them at this time. If I get the drum/drum MC now, what is involved if I add the disks later?

2. Should I go with the power systems offered or just get the brackets that let you add the dual MC without the power option?

3. Does anyone offer a set of lines for conversion to dual MC, or will I have to try to plumb it up myself?

Disk brakes require more fluid displacement and that is why the masters are different.

I have a non-power dual-master on my disc/drum system, and sometimes I wish it was power, but it always stops just fine.

I plumbed mine myself and have not seen a kit for the dual master. I'm surprised its not listed right next to the dual-master and disk brake conversion kits.

It's true. I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble...
