Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 2,168 | I removed my riser in my AD as well. I welded in 1” square tubing along the floorboard as a spacer, drilled some holes, and installed 88-93 Chevy/gmc bench seats. They are wider than stock and nearly touch the doors on both sides, but they give tons of head room, leg room, are easily adjustable and sit at the perfect “hang your elbow out the window as you cruise” height.
