I boogered up my steering shaft threads. Anyhow, since I’m going the power steering route, I’m looking at my options.

There are variations in length. The 57 up is shorter then the 55-56. as they have the dish out steering wheel.

(your title says wheel but you ask about shaft) Or do you mean the shaft? The steering wheel splines are the same from way early to way late Chevys.

For my purpose it doesn’t really matter if it’s a car, truck, whatever. I need a 3/4 shaft with a splined end and a 1/2” nut, that’s it.

I’m trying to figure out my options. I can find find the Tri-Five stuff all over the place, new and used parts. For whatever reason, I’m having trouble finding the truck stuff.
The crowd I run with are more into motorcycles and lifted trucks. I’m the only one that likes old trucks. Maybe I need new friends I guess. | | |
