how rare is a side mount tire lock
that is keyed the same as the
ign. key ,is it rare?

Keith, I am not sure if the side mount lock is any different than the underbed tire mount lock, but the latter can be seen on the home page here:

if that is something that is what you are asking about, YES, very rare indeed!

I have a underbid spare tire lock and do not have the key.
The lock shop was unable to make a key because they could not remove the lock from the housing. Any ideas how it is removed
