Getting closer to installing my 383 stroker (dressed up to look "283") in my 59 Suburban. My question is:
A) the 2 heater hose fittings on the firewall, as one is standing looking aft, right or left, which fitting takes the hose from the intake manifold and which one takes the hose from the water pump?
B) I don't find heater maintenance data in the 58 shop manual. Would it be in the 59 supplement? Or the 59 accessory manual?
I'm using 1/2 in NPT x 3/4 nipple and 3/4 hoses on both.

I used Chineseum no-name heater hose. Took the heater apart three times looking for a leak in the core -- only to discover that the hose was a little too large I.D. My wife is still mad at me for the antifreeze that dripped on her purse.
