I have enough split rim & later wheels but just need to know how other people were able to use the later model wheels on a split rim truck.... | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . They aren't any trouble to drill with a good quality bit | | | | | Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 158 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 158 | I actually have 2 of those plates that I was going to use for the front...as for the rear, I cannot remember (my aging memory) if the studs are on the brake drum or axle? - There still is the option of buying 4 tires from a commercial tire shop that does trucks, tractors & heavy equipment and just mount them on the split rims....I kinda wanted to get away from tubes and really don't want somebody getting hurt doing these tires.....Younger guys who work in these tire shops hardy know what a split rim is....Not being disrespectful, but just don't want anyone getting hurt on my accountability........ | | |
