I have a 1352-193 electronic speedometer but now I can sell it. I saw an ad on Facebook Market place for an '86 S10 being parted out. He said the transmission wouldn't go into gear. I shot him an offer of $50 and he took it. When I arrived he had pulled the transmission and I could see why it wouldn't go into gear, There was absolutely no lining material left on either side of the clutch disc. I'm going to look inside but the fluid is red and doesn't smell burned. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,362 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,362 | Shopteach, I have that transmission in my truck. In my opinion it's about the best of the T5's ratio wise. 1'st gear is the only thing that I sometimes wish was a bit lower. In every day driving the 3.78 ratio is great, however when in the hayfield or creeping down an old hilly woods road I miss the stump pull'n 1st gear from the original SM420.
