We installed the rear fenders a couple of weeks ago and noticed 2 small holes at the top of the wheel well, visible in pics 5 and 6 (I hope). They are 3/16 holes spaced 1" on center. I haven't seen any braces that go there in any of the manuals and can't figure out what they are for. If Anything. Any ideas?
The rest of the pics introduces Molly to the stovebolt group. 1951, 3/4 ton, 5 window longbed. She is currently not running but we're working on that.
As soon as I have time I will figure out how to post a little story and more pics about her and us, would that require a home page?

There ARE braces that attach to those little holes. They were riveted in at the factory. Someone must have removed yours. The braces are much like the braces under the front fenders, and the other side attaches at the top bedside hole. smile
