I found a Ford fuel pump diaphragm that was a perfect fit in my '36 Chevy for $7.50 at Sacramento Vintage Ford parts. So comparing yours to a Ford item may be an option. Is there a Ford parts vendor in your area? It seems that there is a lot of car activity in Las Vegas.

I asked about the ethanol fuel compatibility and the vendor didn't know. Here's what's written on the container: Sacramento Vintage Ford 05869 Diaphragm Fuel Pump 1935-40 Bin 20-047. Below the bar code is number 05869.
Ethanol has been in gas for a long time. But this part is probably from China and we all know that China specializes in making really low quality stuff. This part has worked OK in my '36 Chevy PU for at least 5 years now. Because I said that it will probably fail next time I start the engine.

It is always good to find alternate work-arounds when sourcing parts. Funny how parts between competing auto companies can sometimes be compatible with these old vehicles, way different than in the modern era.
