Does anyone have pictures of a '46 emergency brake linkage? I have only found this online and it isn't all that helpful.
http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/shop/1942_47/4247csm502.htm

Mine currently has the cables from the rear brakes attached to a "yoke" that is a piece of angle iron, and no other apparent parts of the linkage between that and a handle on the left side of the dash in the cab.
Currently I park it in gear and carry around some bricks but that's not exactly an ideal solution....

Thanks,
-sammy

Sammy,

That would be fine, no hills in Houston.

Thanks Sparky, I replied to your email. I realized that I left off some information from this post - under the bed there are the two "tabs" that anchor the ends of the cable sheath and the two pulleys. But after that the two cable ends just terminate in the piece of angle iron. I have that wired up under the truck so that it stays out of the way.
