Rest of the unit is fine it's just the switch gave way after 64 years.

The rest of it looks just like my '52 and earlier fixtures. PM me if you need it. Anything can be fixed depending on ones fabrication skills. This particular task may not be worth the trouble. Carl

Just where the switch attaches broke in two and fell apart. Did search for little switches that might fit but gave up and bought a complete unit for 27 bucks on Ebay. Will transfer the guts from that one into my unit.

Used a couple of small pop rivets to hold the new switch in. Soldered up the connections and it works just fine. Cost/benefit analysis of my labour vs buying a replacement probably favours buying a replacement, but it was more fun to fix up the old one.
