I think if you cut a coil your suspension may get a bit stiff. I would just fit a set of real low profile tyres.

As a guy that dropped his truck 4” by bending the front axle. I wouldn’t go any lower. In order to do any work. I have to put blocks under wheels, the lift her up or I can’t get jack under it without hitting the front bumper. I also found out that you can work under it on the side of the road due to running boards. I love how mine looks, but wasn’t thinking about anything other than looks.

My 2 pennies worth

Putting roller skate wheels on the bumpers used to be a popular addition to the lead sleds. Forrest Gump's Mama had something to say about those guys, didn't she?

I get it LOL. Why not take out a couple coils and and be lower than low LOL....

One of the best mods I've done recently to my low rider was put taller tires on the front (by nearly 3"). EVERYTHING improved but I'm probably kicked out of the low rider club now. LOL

Nice build on the panel..

Thanks. I have a new set of front coils I will be installing soon. Like you said, it looks good like that but for a daily driver it needs to be a more practical ride height.

Yes, I need blocks under the tires before I can even get a low-profile floor jack under it.

I once fab'ed some skid rollers for my '34 Ford PU. They worked good but the funnest part was the horrified reactions I'd get when I'd scrape and grind into a driveway.

Just a thought. What happens if you blow a tire? Are you going to be repainting and doing metal work?

Why not drive it as is, see how you like it and modify later if you don’t like it, it’s kind of hard to add a coil once it’s gone unless you change the whole spring.

Just a thought.

Chris
