Hello Bolters,
I am getting ready to put the foot parking brake in my truck.
First question I have TWO kits: One felt kit large square piece with leather piece with a hole.thick
I also have a second kit that has a round felt kit with two round hard washer pieces.
Which one is correct and how does it go in?
Thank you.
//Tclederman: I will post part numbers/company when I get home.
//Mnsmith: Yes, one kit looks almost the same as accelerator felt kit. Your picture tells me the "Square" one is correct.
//Update: the Round kit is # PB-485 1948-55 Park brake floor kit from Bowtiebits (page38)
The Square kit is #40-115 Classicparts (page41)

What are your part numbers, and from what company did you buy them?

Otherwise, attach a few images.

The felt with washers sounds like the end of pedal shaft, anti-thump kit.
