I have a 1951 1/2 ton and was wondering how to convert it to put in the 1/2 ton. It now has an open driveline and a car 3 speed. Is there a rear part that takes the place of the drum bracket and speedometer gear bracket? | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy Snowman51, yes you should be able to find the parts to convert your transmission to a non parking brake band type, and someone may be looking to do the opposite job to their transmission. Post and ad in the parts wanted and parts for sale forum, you never know maybe you'll find somebody looking to make a trade, good luck. | | |
