hello , I have a 1939 Chevy 2.5 ton truck , I would like to know if a added key lock would fit separate from the door handle on the passenger side ? also I have the batwing front engine hood, is there a locking mechanisms for this type of truck ? aftermarket is fine , I would just like some security when traveling. thank you .

Pete, for the doors, you could look into something like these, Speedway Universal Suicide Door Safety Latches, go to Speedway Motors, there are other brands also or you could even make your own.

My fathers 39 had keyed door handles on both sides, mine only had a key lock on the driver side. I just reached over flipped the door handle to lock that side.

Another quality post.
