Yes it will, very lucky for me I put the gas tank there and I have the original yes original spare tire carrier that sits on the side of the truck very excited about putting it back on! Love, love that look!
Looks just like the one I have tucked up in the rafters over the garage. Not sure if I will use it as I like the wind up carriers described elsewhere on this site.
BTW, notice how the illustration in the post above shows a bare rim. A lot of good a rim without a tire will do you when you have a flat.
Funny you should mention that. My Big Bolt has been carrying around an empty rim for as long as I have owned it. Of course I'd never be able to change a tire on it by myself anyhow.

Not surprising. Back in 1994 I bought a new pickup and the spare rim was standard equipment while the tire was an extra cost option.

Interesting thread. My question is, what size tire will fit on the spare tire carrier? Was the wheel and tire the same size as the other 4 on the truck?
