I need some advise, I got the windshied out of the old truck last night, and on the drivers side, it had rusted through on the bottom corner, I need to know how to fix this, or if anyone knows of where I could find a patch panel for this part. I would also like to know if the dash comes out of these trucks, so I could fix this from both sides. Any help would be appreciated.

It would help if we knew what kind of truck you are talking about.

No better smell than that of fresh paint. I've been building and painting cars/trucks for 47 years. Not gonna stop now.

The best method would be to find an old cab and cut the piece you need from it. You might want to post a need for this in the swap meet section.

I saved that section from a 54 cab I cut up but it would not work for your cab.
