Sometimes they are 15" 5 lug and others 16" 6 lug. What determined the size rims on AD trucks? Was rim size a factory option or did different years (47-55) have different sizes?

I had thought I saw were they were suppose to be 16" but I see so many listed as 15 I wasn't sure.
