I would love to swap my 59' longbed fleetside chassis, with a newer chassis that is 4x4. I had read somewhere about someone doing it with a k20 frame or something of the sort. Who has done it? Would love to get some insider information to see if it is feasible for me.

I have a long time friend near McKinney that put a 58 on a Blazer chassis and drove it for years as his fishing truck. He is an avid fisherman and the 4wd was great for getting the boat trailer in and out of slick/muddy/dicey places. IIRC it was a short WB but everything would be the same except bed mounts and driveshaft. PM me and I'll put you in contact with him.

I was just reading the story of a guy here putting a '57 Suburban on the frame of a '73-'87 (I think) C10 chassis using a kit from EZ Chassis swap company. Maybe their kit would work with a K10 chassis?
