Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 523 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 523 | I have seen different opinions on what the standard, factory rear lighting consisting of - 1 or 2 tail/brake lights, turn signals? Is there a picture of a factory stock truck, taken of the rear? Bob

There were no standard-equipment turn-signals until the late fifties (accessory turn signals were available). One tail/stop light was also standard equipment until late fifties. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 523 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 523 | Thanks, Tim. That is what I had been thinking, but some of the catalogs made me wonder. Fortunately, Arizona allows me to restore to factory state, so long as it is a fairly pure restoration. Yes, I suppose that I do have some suicidal leanings. And if a person does not know how to drive safely without any lights, he never really learned how to drive. Bob
