This was a relatively easy project, but seemed like it took forever waiting on all the parts to get in and then I wasn't happy with the hammered paint finish so I re-sand blasted and re-painted it TWICE. Still not perfect but I am happy with the results. Here are some pics of my Harrison fresh air heater (model: H-02-47) restoration and 12v fan conversion. The new fan motor fits within the case of the original fan motor housing so it still looks all original when it is all said and done.

Anyone else that maybe doing this I found a great guide here: http://devestechnet.com/Home/HeaterRestore

Working on restoring the heater control valve now. I have the Ranco Type HF Heater Control Valve (directions on how to restore it in the link above as well at the bottom. If anyone has the same valve and is restoring it let me know. I ordered a replacement seal and NAPA sent me a whole box of 10 of them. Balkamp P/N#6601000.

Here are the parts/supplies used on the heater:
Paint
Screws
Rubber bumpers
Blower Motor

Hopefully someday I get enough of these little pieces restored that there will be enough to make a truck!

Great work Jason. The heater turned out really nice. Congratulations on a job well done!

Also, thanks for the link to the parts you used in the restoration. This is good reference material for anyone restoring their Fresh Aire heater.

Thanks. For anyone shopping for the blower motor look for one for a '62 Gmc 1500. Got mine off the shelf at local parts store pretty cheap.
