I have an uncle that is trying to sell 1964 K20, factory 4x4 that was restored about 10 years ago. The paint job is so-so, he put a crate 283 in it and replaced several of the accessories with re-pop, the bed is from a '68... I'm looking to general sense of what these are worth, on his behalf. You will get huge ranges anywhere you ask. It depends on where you live, where you advertise, condition and a bunch of other things. Check Ebay sales, local craigslist, NADA, KB, etc. and you still won't know. The uncle owns it because he likes 60-66, knows about them, worked on them, he has an idea. He has not lived in a vacuum. I've seen folks pretend they don't have a clue so they can get offers, trying to catch a fish.

I have been trying to answer that question myself about my '66 K20 and am having a difficult time getting a professional appraisal. I even contacted Hagerty insurance to ask for value range and none was provided. Online, their listing only goes back to '67.

The only real life number I can share is what I paid for mine in Feb. of this year in running, driveable condition (pics and description in this forum), and that was $3200.00 that included 2 pickup truck loads of spare parts for that truck.

I am happy with the deal. The spare parts included spare doors, a set of spare windows all around, spare instrument cluster with gauges, fenders, tailgate, NOS painted grille (in primer), various lighting, electrical, and interior parts as well as a trailer made out of the rear half of a '65 C10.

I am happy to say that the truck continues to respond very well to my efforts. While running it recently to dial in the carburetor, I noticed that the no smoke exhaust was blowing over the lawn grass at a distance of about 8 feet or so from the tip of the side discharge exhaust pipe at idle speed.
