good afternoon to all, my son recently purchased a 1953 chevrolet, the truck was modified with a 250 motor. we were able to get it up and running had to replace or repair the gas tank, gas lines, tune up, carb rebuilt, new fuel pump, new filters, points and condenser and we are currently re-wiring it.
i noticed though that the distributor doesn't have a vacuum advance that leads to the carb but the carb has a hose that comes out but runs into the cab to no where. what if i leave it like this? what is needed to add a vacuum assist?
