Anybody know which door latches for the AD cabs are the best at this time? Used different ones in the past some not so good other better. But its been a while. Have to use stock type as truck is original style but i dont have original parts.
Thanks

New Old Stock. Search eBay.
I tear my worn out ones down as far as possible, then clean and inspect for extreme wear and weld on metal where it has worn off and grind the parts until they are like new. The passenger side latches sometimes are not worn real bad and can be used for reference for determining what the parts are supposed to look like.

Yep been down that road many times. But as I stated...I DIDNT have latches. NOS latches now that's funny. But I bought junk Repops ones and cut them apart and built a set. Guess nobody cares about quality anymore. Glad I do hot rods most of the time .so not stuck with repop junk like I just RECIEVED .
Not my favorite job cutting new latches apart ,tig welding cams and pins. But they work now . Just was trying to to find the best ones to start with.

I found a set of NOS latches still in GM boxes, so they are out there.
Throw a part number out on a search, you may be surprised what you find.
