ordering new springs front/rear for my 46 1/2 ton. Am wondering who you all have ordered parts from in the past. I am looking at springs from General Spring (generalspringkc.com). They seem to be priced better than most that I have looked at. Has anyone used their products before? They will be stock spring/spindle combinations. Anything I should look for in particular from a vendor? Thanks for the input.

I have used St. Louis Spring several times and have always been very happy with them and their products. www.saintlouisspring.com

I would definitely buy from a local company to save on shipping. These are not rocket science. Can't see getting bad springs from a spring company. You live in a well populated area. Gotta be good spring companies there. Don't worry about it.

I just bought mine for my 1953 from St Louis Spring. They are American made, and they claim that they are made from North American steel. Mine were quite a bit less money than same thing from Eaton. They also came with correct bushings already installed.

I think Jim Carter, Eaton, and ESPO also give quotes/prices on their websites.
Shipping costs might be different - check them out.

I think that my pair of rear springs from St. Louis spring were $158 for a pair. I thought that was pretty reasonable.
