New to the forum, but not to old trucks.

Currently have a 1966 Short Stepside with a 350/350/3.73 posi.
Just a fun driver that has it’s share of quirks.

I’m looking forward to learn new things and hopefully I can share some of my knowledge of old trucks that may help others.

Coconuts?
Are you near there or work there?
We are the fourth dock up stream from coconuts.

I'm headed there tomorrow to do some dock cable repair.
Anyway, welcome to the addiction of old iron.
Keep posting about 4 times and you will get full access to this cavern of knowledge.
Stop by tomorrow, I'll be in the lake and cold ones in the garage are on me.
Happy hour 4 pm on the neighbors deck, looking over the Coconuts parking lot.

Oh, look for a red Tacoma behind the garage.

Don, did they film that Netflix show Ozarks anywhere near you? Seems like I remember Coconuts mentioned in that show?

I don't know where Coconuts is, but I live off of Lake road 7-9 near Climax Springs.

Nice to have a member near by!

Tim

I am currently digging back in to a 1953 3800 (one ton) with a nine foot bed. I've owned it since 1979, and drove it until 1982 (or so). My wife got me involved in restoring it back in 2002, got the body removed and the frame redone, then things came up. Now I am retired and starting again. If anyone is interested I have photos on Imagur ( https://timwhiteblues.imgur.com/ ). I live way back in the woods in the Ozarks on 40 acres at the end of a 2 1/2 mile private road.

It's been years since I have drove that stretch of hwy 7.
Lotta cool country roads in those hills.
The Wife, dog and I may be exploring them after the Reunion.
She has two weeks vacation in mid Sept.
Any good places to get lunch in that area?
By water, you are not far from Big Dicks.

Our place is not on the water, but we are very close to Mimosa Beach.
