Talked with a guy this weekend who claims he is the second owner of a '53, 3100 which
the original owner says he bought new with a 235 in it. His claim was that it was a year end
production vehicle and they had used up the 216's and put 235's in some.
Never heard that before, so I have my doubts. Any body heard this tale before and have
documentation to back that up?????

Don't know the guy Tim, just ran into him at a cruise Saturday.
Simply wondering if anyone had ever heard of this before
Of course in early '55 we're all aware of the short run for
the AD cab before they released the square fendered '55.
My gut feeling was that somewhere in it's 65 years it had
it's 216 swapped out for the 235 but I wasn't going to argue
with the guy.
